When I lie myself to sleep

I see your image

at the blank space above me

The way you remind me of the way you left

could cut my heart into pieces.

As shadows fill up my room

your scent fills up the air.

I tried to throw the blanket away but

the stains you’ve made, remained in my pillowcase.

I wash my hair to keep my mind alive

coz the pain you left me resembles death..

Well, I think it’s worse than that

The smoke lies up as the sun goes down

it’s far gloomy than it used to be

you could kill me soon or I’ll do it for your favor.

EXCERPTS FROM A WARM CUP

HNYB: ” I nod looking at the way you hesitate to take my hand resting so near yours. “I know you’re  already gone”, I tell myself. I will forget the feel of your hands on my skin. I will smile and tell you that I’m happy for you because that’s what you want to hear and believe. I will not hope you will be back soon nor say that “I wish I am going with you”. Instead, I will keep in mind that there is nothing between us anymore. It’s just that the coffee is too warm and I am so cold.

“If you see me walking the road with someone else, it’s not because I like his company.. It’s because you’re not brave enough to walk beside me. If you hear me talking about him all the time, it’s because you’re deaf to hear my heart beat. If you feel that I’m falling with someone new, it’s not what I really feel.. It’s because I want you to know that I do have the heart to love, not just you. If you feel that I don’t love you, you know that it was never true.. It’s just that you’re too insensitive not to feel the love that I’ve always had for you. “
